Full job description

We’re looking for a keen and reliable individual to join our air conditioning team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the air conditioning industry. You’ll work directly alongside an experienced engineer with over 15 years in the trade, gaining practical experience across installations, servicing, maintenance and fault finding.

The aim is to develop your skills to the point where you can eventually work as your own team, taking on jobs independently once you have the necessary experience and confidence.

The role

  • Assisting with air conditioning installations and maintenance
  • Learning how to install, service and fault-find air conditioning systems
  • Working on domestic and commercial sites
  • Helping with pipework, trunking, electrical connections and general installation work
  • Working alongside an experienced engineer and learning on the job
  • Progressing towards carrying out work independently

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • F-Gas qualification preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
  • Willingness to complete an F-Gas qualification if not already certified
  • Genuine interest in becoming an air conditioning engineer
  • Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail
  • Professional attitude when working on customer properties
  • Comfortable working at height and in different working environments

What we’re looking for

Experience within air conditioning isn’t essential. Attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are more important.

This would suit someone who is already working in a practical trade, has some basic installation or construction experience, or is simply looking for an opportunity to get started in air conditioning.

You’ll receive hands-on experience and guidance from an engineer with 15+ years of experience, with the potential for regular ongoing work and progression into your own team as your abilities develop.
