Job Responsibilities:

As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the installation of various air conditioning systems, ensuring exceptional quality and workmanship. Your primary duties will include:

• Installation Work: Perform hands-on installation of single and multi-split systems, VRV/VRF systems, CRAC units, and DX units.
• Supervision: Lead and mentor an improver with 3 years of training, providing guidance and support to aid their development.
• Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet our high standards of quality. Take pride in your work, promptly addressing any issues or imperfections to maintain our exceptional workmanship.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to meet their needs and ensure a positive experience throughout the installation process.

Work Environments:

Your role will involve working in a variety of settings, including hotels, hospitals, shops, offices, schools, and occasionally domestic environments. Each setting requires a tailored approach to meet specific climate control needs and expectations.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with:

• Experience: A proven track record in air conditioning installation and project supervision.
• Technical Knowledge: Expertise in installing and managing systems such as single and multi-splits, VRV/VRF, CRAC, and DX units.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in supervising and mentoring a team, particularly apprentices.
• Certifications: Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is required.
• Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential, preferably clean.
• Attention to Detail: A commitment to high-quality workmanship, taking pride in your work and correcting any issues to meet our high standards.
• Location: Ideally, candidates should be based in Medway or nearby to facilitate picking up an improver from Chatham.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, based on experience. We are also open to considering a self-employed contract for the right candidate.
