Air Conditioning Installation Trainee

Aqua Mechanical Services Ltd is looking for a motivated Air Conditioning Installation Trainee to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, learning the trade through hands-on experience on commercial installation projects.

The Role

You’ll assist our engineers with a range of air conditioning installations across London, Kent and the South East.

Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Assisting with the installation of split, multi-split and VRF air conditioning systems
  • Installing copper pipework, containment, drainage and cabling
  • Helping with the positioning and installation of indoor and outdoor units
  • Learning how air conditioning systems are installed, pressure tested and commissioned
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Learning to read drawings and understand installation specifications
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
  • Working alongside experienced Air Conditioning Engineers on commercial projects

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Full UK Driving License and able to travel to the office
  • Hard-working with a good attitude
  • Keen to learn a skilled trade
  • Practical and comfortable working with tools
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Professional when working on customers’ sites
  • Interested in building a long-term career in air conditioning and refrigeration

Previous construction or mechanical experience would be useful but is not essential. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude who is willing to learn and work hard.

A driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay & Benefits

£27,000–£32,000+ per year, depending on age, experience and hours worked.
