Job Title: Air Conditioning Electrician (Permanent & Subcontracting Positions Available)

Location: Brighton

Permanent Roles: £40,000 – £70,000+ per year – Van, Fuel Card, Annual Leave + Company Benefits

Sub-Contracted Roles: £1,000 – £2,500 per week, paid every Friday.

The Role:

We are looking for experienced Air Conditioning Electricians to join our team, carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, repairs and testing associated with air conditioning and HVAC systems across domestic and commercial properties.

You will be responsible for electrical connections, installations, fault finding, maintenance and repairs on air conditioning units and associated systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and industry standards.

We have opportunities for electricians with experience in one or more of the following areas, depending on your skill set:

  • Air conditioning electrical installations and connections.
  • Electrical maintenance and repairs on air conditioning systems.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Electrical testing and inspection.
  • HVAC system installations and maintenance.
  • Commercial and domestic air conditioning projects.

We have opportunities across a variety of sectors, including social and private housing, commercial properties and public sector projects.

What You'll Need:

  • At least 2 years' experience as an Electrician, preferably with experience working on air conditioning, HVAC or refrigeration systems.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and experience working independently on electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
  • Strong understanding of electrical connections, controls, wiring and components associated with air conditioning systems.
  • Experience with electrical fault finding, testing and diagnostics.
  • Good understanding of relevant electrical regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
  • 18th Edition qualification.
  • Electrical testing qualification (2391) is not mandatory but would be advantageous.
  • Gold JIB/ECS card would be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a professional, reliable approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
