Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday–Friday

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join our growing team based in Chelmsford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable, long-term employed position with a well-established company, competitive salary and excellent company benefits.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and installing a range of air conditioning systems across commercial and domestic sites.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
  • Working on a range of split, multi-split, VRF/VRV and other HVAC systems.
  • Completing installation, service and maintenance paperwork accurately.
  • Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
  • Working safely and maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

About You

We are looking for an engineer who is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work.

You should have:

  • Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
  • Strong service, maintenance and installation experience.
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Relevant air conditioning/HVAC qualifications.
  • F-Gas certification.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A positive, professional and hardworking attitude.
