As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are looking for customer service driven individuals like you, who are passionate about delivering a great customer experience by joining our successful Vehicle Technician team.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of vehicles. This position requires an individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicles and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Perform regular maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.).
  • Conduct tests and inspections of vehicles.
  • Use diagnostic tools and specialised testing equipment to identify mechanical problems.

Day-to-day duties

  • Preparing used vehicles to high standards.
  • Carrying out standard servicing, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
  • Maintaining equipment and tools.
  • Following the correct procedures and completing documentation.

Essential skills

  • Previous experience in a vehicle workshop environment.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of routine servicing and basic mechanical repairs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team in a competent, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to follow written and spoken instructions and accurately complete paperwork.
  • A full driving licences.

In addition to this you will be highly motivated, efficient, organised and have a proven track record within vehicle inspection, maintenance, rectification, and a detailed knowledge of various diagnostic equipment.

Used to working in a fast pace, target driven environment, with excellent communication skills, and have a clean full UK driving licence.
