Ideal casual and flexible role for students in Edinburgh!

Description:

I’m looking for reliable, detail-oriented people to join my small team helping prepare holiday let apartments in central Edinburgh for guests. This is flexible, ongoing work with shifts you can pick up to suit your schedule.

About the Role:

  • I am based in London, so I am looking for reliable individuals to undertake varied tasks related to my holiday lets in central Edinburgh: such as accepting deliveries, watering plants, communicating maintenance issues, monitoring inventory restock needs, and resetting apartments to a high standard between guest stays (which includes making beds, general cleaning tasks, monitoring inventory stock, replenishing supplies, and following detailed checklists).
  • Shifts are available daily, with work mainly between 11am (checkout) and 4pm (check-in) — you can choose when you complete the shift during that window. I will not unilaterally assign shift date and times but I will request specific shifts which you have discretion to accept or decline.
  • All available cleaning shifts for the next two months will be visible on Turno, where you can select the ones that suit you on an ad-hoc basis. Average shift length: 2–4 hours (depending on the property and booking).

  • Competitive hourly rate, paid automatically after each completed shift, plus automatic bonus payment for every 5 star cleaning review.

What I’m Looking For:

  • Reliability and commitment — this is the most important quality, as cancellations can disrupt guest stays.
  • Good communication — letting me know promptly if your availability changes
  • Attention to detail — able to follow checklists and ensure a high standard of presentation.
