Full job description

ROLE: Facilities Management Service Co‑ordinator (FMSC)
HOURS: Shift work pattern – 2 days / 2 nights / 6 days off (12‑hour shifts: 8:00am / 8:00pm)
LOCATION: Prestwick

This role is based on our flagship NATS contract, supporting one of the most critical pieces of infrastructure in the UK. NATS is the UK's leading provider of air traffic control services, managing around 2.4 million flights and 250 million passengers every year. Their teams operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring aircraft move safely and efficiently across UK airspace.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operation and monitoring of FM control room head end systems, including Building Management, Fire Management, Electrical Management, operational lighting and battery monitoring systems
  • Administration of subcontractor callouts (normal and emergency) and management of associated service documentation
  • Management and co‑ordination of maintenance and project subcontractors on site
  • Administration of the help desk function for all FM reactive work and updating the CAFM system database, including energy data collection and reporting
  • Supporting FM Managers with scenario training and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies, including reviewing risk assessments and method statements

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

  • Recognised Electrical/Mechanical or Building Services apprenticeship
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Professional, courteous manner with excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness and ability to gain and maintain DV security clearance
