RJA Security has been providing security services since 1992 and security training services since 1999; our reputation and growth has stemmed from recommendations and referrals, a testament to the consistently high quality of service we provide to our Clients.

We are looking to recruit a Customer Service / Security Officer to join our operation at Farnborough Airport. Excellent customer service skills are a must, and although full training will be provided, previous security experience and a frontline SIA license would be beneficial

Duties to include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to the site in a polite and customer focused manner
  • Manage access control to the site
  • Issuing passes to visitors and staff members
  • Internal and external patrols
  • Operation of CCTV and access control systems
  • Produce accurate and comprehensive incident reports
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Work in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Once trained, to participate in passenger and baggage screening in the central search area

Essential criteria:

  • Able to work a set six week early/late shift pattern
  • 5 year continuous checkable history
  • Must have been a UK resident for at least 3 years (to obtain security clearance)

Candidate competencies:

  • Proven customer service skills
  • Fluent in written & spoken English
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Basic IT skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems
  • Previous security experience an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.60-£13.90 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Work Location: In person
