Job Summary:
Due to continuous growth we are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for maintenance and installation of new and existing systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities and Duties -

  • Service, install, maintain new and existing fire systems, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
  • Experience on Gent preferred but not essential
  • Diagnose and repair faults on systems to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Work closely with our clients to identify their needs and provide them with bespoke solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain good relationships with clients.

Qualifications and Skills -

Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of fire and security systems.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and practical skills in installation, maintenance, servicing and commissioning of fire and security systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel across the Newcastle area

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in fire and security engineering or equivalent.
  • CSCS/ECS card preferred.
  • FIA Units 1 & 5 qualifications would be an advantage.
