Medical Gas Engineer

We are looking for an individual to provide a professional and high quality service working on all types of Medical & Laboratory Gas equipments and systems.

To be considered for this role you will ideally need a mechanical background with previous relevant experience. Preferably a time served plumbing or electrical apprenticeship.

It is essential to hold a past of present Competent Person qualification (MGPS). A knowledge of servicing medical gas systems, compressor maintenance and repairs, vacuum pumps, gas manifolds, gas outlets, alarms, pressure equipment and medical pipeline install would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service and PPM checks, tests and inspections in accordance with industry standards and hospital requirements.
• Undertake a full range of servicing and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Identify and document faults and non compliant equipment in line with current guidelines.
• Installation of new plant and pipeline systems.
• Carry out repairs and planned remedial works.
• Provide 24/7 emergency call cover as part of a rota.
• Full UK Driving Licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
