Job Location: Manchester

We are currently seeking a security installation engineer with experience in installing intruder alarms, CCTV systems and access control systems. All candidates must have previous experience in either installation work or small works. The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and have good intruder alarm industry experience to NSI standards along with knowledge of CCTV and access control systems. The package is commensurate with experience, knowledge base and qualifications. Daily travel time payments are paid, and overtime is frequently available for which additional payments will be made. Basic hours are 40 hrs per week with an expected average potential earnings, including overtime, of £50 – £55k.
The Role
- Carry out installations to industry standards.
- Meet predefined target times for installation.
- Clear and concise communication with the supervisors regarding customer issues.
- Electronic reporting and use of customer portals.
- Effective control of stock and vehicle audit.
- Awareness of Health and Safety.
- To present a professional appearance.
The Candidate
- Previous experience is necessary.
- Be able to work on their own initiative.
- Have knowledge of CCTV and access control systems
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good timekeeping.
- Customer orientated.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Dynamic, forward thinking, and ambitious.
- Right to work in the UK.
- 2 years experience in an installation engineering role.
