We're looking for an experienced CCTV & Security Systems Engineer to join our growing team at Secure CCTV & Alarms.

If you're a capable engineer who enjoys varied work, takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to be part of a friendly, ambitious company, we'd love to hear from you.

We're an established security systems business working with residential, commercial and industrial customers across Suffolk, Essex and London.

We believe in giving our engineers the right equipment, support and independence to do their jobs well, without unnecessary micromanagement.

What you'll be doing

You'll be working on a wide variety of installations, upgrades and maintenance projects, including:

• Installing and commissioning IP CCTV systems
• Installing, servicing and fault-finding intruder alarms
• Working with video intercoms and access control systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Configuring CCTV recorders, cameras and network connections
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing
• Providing customers with friendly, professional advice
• Completing job reports and installation documentation

No two days are quite the same. You'll work on everything from residential installations to larger commercial projects, with the opportunity to develop your technical skills as the company grows.

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll already have experience installing and maintaining CCTV and intruder alarm systems and be confident working independently.

We're particularly interested in engineers who:

• Have hands-on CCTV and intruder alarm experience
• Are confident with fault finding and commissioning
• Understand IP CCTV systems and basic networking
• Take pride in neat, professional installations
• Are reliable, organised and good with customers
• Can work independently and as part of a small team
• Hold a full UK driving licence

Experience with these systems would be a bonus

• Hikvision CCTV and intercom systems
• Ajax intruder alarms
• Paxton access control
• Wired and wireless alarm systems
• Automated gates and door entry
• IP networking, Wi-Fi and Starlink

Don't worry if you haven't worked with every system listed. We're more interested in finding a good engineer with the right attitude and solid CCTV and alarm experience. Additional training can be provided.
