Approved Electrician with Supervisory and Project Management Experience

About Us:

Due to our expansion and growth plans, we now have an opportunity for a suitably qualified Approved Electrician with Supervisory and Project Management experience to work alongside an employer dedicated to continued success. We seek motivated, driven, skilled individuals to join our hard-working team and develop their careers in a dynamic and progressive organisation.

As an Approved Electrician with supervisory and project management experience, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will lead a team of electricians, electricians mates and electrical apprentices, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure all safety and quality standards are met. This role requires excellent technical skills, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects .

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of electricians and apprentices, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.

- Plan, execute, and oversee electrical projects, ensuring they meet specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.

- Prepare accurate and timely survey and specification documents for quote preparation.

- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.

- Provide technical guidance and support to your team.

- Ensure continuous improvement through training and professional development.

Requirements:

- Valid SJIB Gold Card and approved electrician status.

- Proven experience in supervisory roles within the electrical industry.

- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivered projects.

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and regulations.

- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility to work on various projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Hours of Working:

Regular Working hours are (Mon - Thurs 8 am - 5 pm) and (Fri 8 am - 2.30 pm).
