Full job description

Alarm Radio Monitoring Ltd are a leading UK based systems provider primarily for the healthcare and custodial market.

Our disciplines range from design, manufacturer and install of nurse call equipment to fully integrated high secure unit systems.

Due to expansion, we are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, multi-skilled engineer to join our team.

This exciting opportunity involves installing and maintaining our systems within our customers establishments. This will range from care homes, hospitals and healthcare environments to high secure units and custodial settings. Covering primarily across South and Central England, with possible projects further afield as and when required.

Prior to going out in the field, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are confident and fully supported in the position.

The candidate we are looking for will already have field experience in installation, service, and maintenance.

Work well on there own but also as a team on larger projects.

A background in IP networking ie IP CCTV

A good understanding of electronic systems and principles.

A logical fault-finding methodology.

A grasp of IT from using Excel to installing software and programming systems.

The ability to work in high stress environments.

The most important attributes are good communications skills, flexibility and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance visits on existing systems.
  • Fault finding and carrying out repairs on site.
  • Attending building sites and existing properties to install new systems.
  • Potentially we will be launching an on-call system in the future.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving License.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to organize your work.
  • A background or interest in electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Availability to stay away when required.
  • No Criminal convictions.

Package:

  • £29,000 - £35,000 basic salary depending on experience. Based on a typical 37.5hr/week working Monday to Friday. (OTE with overtime £33,000 -£45,000)
  • Overtime available. Typically 12-20 hrs per week
