Electrician - COMMERCIAL INSTALLATIONS

Gillespie & McLean Electrical Services Ltd have permanent positions for Qualified Electricians with a minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience for commercial sites across Scotland’s central belt.

• Emergency Lighting - testing, installation, maintenance & repair
• EICRs – Periodic Inspection & Testing (commercial and private landlord domestic)
• Workplace / Commercial EV Installs
• Data Cabling Installs
• CCTV Installs
• Fire Alarm Installation
• Intruder Alarm Installation
• Door access Installation

Essential – You must have:

• Time Served Recognised Apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years post apprenticeship experience in commercial installations
• Current/Valid ECS Health & Safety Gold card
• Full Clean Driving Licence

Desirable – What we would like you to have

• 18th Edition Certification
• Valid PASMA
• Valid IPAF
• 5 years post apprenticeship experience of conducting EICRs in commercial properties

You will need to

• Be highly competent in using your initiative and thinking outside the box to resolve problems / faults
• Be extremely professional with fantastic customer care and communication skills
• Be able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Be able to supervise small teams when required
• Be flexible where addition hours are required to complete works (OT rates apply)
• Be willing to work away occasionally

Additional Information

• Company Van & Fuel Card will be provided (for business and commuting use only)
• Company pension scheme
• 29 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
• 40 hours per week. Mon – Fri 0800-1600
• Salary: £38k - £39.5k per year depending on experience

Pay: Up to £39,500.00 per year
