Job description:

Electrical Project Services (Huddersfield) Ltd is an electrical firm based in huddersfield, working in surrounding areas working in domestic and commercial environments, carrying out reactive maintenance, installation works on single phase, three phase and fixed electrical wiring. CCTV, Fire alarm and emergency lighting, Data and intruder alarms. fully approved and registered with NICEIC.

Benefits of Electrician Engineer:

· Salary £25-30k depending on experience

· 40 hours per week Mon – Fri 8am – 16.30

· 28 day annual holiday entitlement including 8 days bank holidays

· Close down between Christmas and New Year

· Company Van

· Potential for overtime & on call work

Requirements of Electrician Engineer:

· Experience, qualified electrician 5 years + (preferred)

· Able to fault find, first fix, second fix including testing experience and be confident filling out of NICEIC (or similar) certs

· Must have 18th Edition

· Full Driving licence

· Must have own hand and cordless tools

* Available to do OOH paid on call work (on a rota basis)

Responsibilities of Electrician Engineer:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
  • Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
  • Provide professional assessments and advice for customers
  • Other duties as requested

  • Fault finding and diagnosis
  • Reviewing maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
  • Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
