Full job description

Day Secure Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our growing team as an Apprentice CCTV & Security Systems Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the electronic security industry, gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers while working towards a recognised Level 3 apprenticeship qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance and servicing of CCTV systems.
  • Learn to install and configure intruder alarms, access control and door entry systems.
  • Assist with cable installation, termination and testing.
  • Gain experience in fault finding, system programming and commissioning.
  • Work on a variety of domestic and commercial projects.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, customer service and health and safety.

What We're Looking For:

No previous experience is necessary. We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn and has a genuine interest in technology, electronics or engineering.

What We Offer:

  • £8.00 per hour starting salary.
  • Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (40 hours per week).
  • Fully funded apprenticeship training, subject to eligibility.
  • Recognised Level 3 qualification upon successful completion.
  • 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
