Full job description

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our growing team! If you thrive in a hands-on role and want to work on cutting-edge developments, utilizing the latest technology, this is your opportunity to be part of some of the most exciting projects in Manchester!

The Role

As a Security Systems Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include the installation and commissioning of:

  • Large-scale IP-networked CCTV systems (Hikvision + Hanwha)
  • IP Access control and door entry systems (Salto / Paxton / NSP / Comelit etc..)
  • ANPR Systems
  • Door monitoring alarm systems
  • EVCS (Emergency voice communication systems)

You'll be working primarily on state-of-the-art new builds across Manchester, though smaller system installations and upgrades will also form part of your workload. You'll also respond to non-emergency reactive callouts (standard working hours) – with no out-of-hours on call rota.

Occasional weekend work required - Overtime paid

Key Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with a solid background in:

  • Installing and commissioning security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
  • Working knowledge of WiFi + Data networks (highly advantageous)
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and system schematics
  • Diagnosing and resolving system faults efficiently
