ABOUT THE ROLE

Peter Alexander is not your typical fashion retailer—we’re about fun, comfort, self-expression and bringing joy to sleepwear lovers everywhere. A household favourite in Australia for over 35 years, the brand is now expanding in the UK, and we’re looking for a Store Manager who’s ready to help lead our dream team at White City.

Yes, you can wear pyjamas to work. But this role is much more than that – it’s about leading from the front, driving a customer-first culture, and taking ownership of all aspects of store performance. You’ll play a key role in bringing the Peter Alexander magic to life for UK customers and building a team who live and breathe the brand.

This is a full-time position and requires flexibility across weekends, evenings, and peak trading periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead your team to exceed sales targets and deliver outstanding store performance
  • Implement merchandising strategies that engage customers and drive sales
  • Develop, train, and succession plan for your team to ensure continuous growth
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback, empowering your team to reach their potential
  • Assess store priorities and implement actions to ensure optimal performance
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive working environment for your team and customers
  • Oversee stock management, minimise loss, and maximise sales opportunities
  • Manage the store rota to ensure the right team coverage at all times
  • Deliver a memorable customer experience that reflects the Peter Alexander brand
  • Oversee the recruitment and development of a high-performing sales team
  • Play a key role in the foundation of Peter Alexander’s UK growth at our new Bluewater store

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven leadership experience, inspiring and motivating a team to achieve results
  • Passion for developing and coaching your team, creating a growth-oriented environment
  • Strong retail management background, with a track record of driving sales and meeting targets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships
  • A natural brand ambassador, delivering a customer-first approach in everything you do
  • Demonstrated ability to manage store operations, including stock control and supporting with visual merchandising
  • A proactive mindset, always seeking ways to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
