The Role

We are looking for a skilled Bed Upholsterer to join our team in Yorkshire.

This is a hands-on role focused on upholstering high-quality bed frames and headboards to a premium standard. You will be responsible for ensuring every product is finished with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Upholstery Work

  • Upholster bed frames, headboards, and panels using a range of fabrics (e.g. bouclé, velvet, linen)
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately
  • Apply foam, padding, and finishing layers
  • Ensure clean lines, symmetry, and a high-end finish

Quality & Finishing

  • Inspect all work to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Maintain consistency across all products
  • Identify and resolve any faults or imperfections

Production Support

  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
  • Assist with general workshop duties where required
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirements

  • Proven experience in upholstery (beds, sofas, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials
  • Good understanding of upholstery tools and techniques
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience with high-end or luxury furniture
  • Basic carpentry or frame assembly knowledge
