The Role

Do you enjoy quality, locally brewed beer and don’t mind getting stuck into physically demanding work? You could be the newest member of the Purple Moose Brewery team.

We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable and energetic person to join us as a Brewery Production Assistant.

While our brewers are busy crafting award-winning Welsh beer, our Production Assistants play an important part in keeping the brewery running. Your day-to-day work will include filling casks with fresh beer, operating our cask washer, emptying spent grain from the mash tun, and carrying out a variety of other brewery production tasks.

Although the majority of your time will be spent working at the brewery in Porthmadog, during busier periods you may also be required to head out on the road, delivering casks to pubs and customers across the region in our vans.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Able to reliably commute to our brewery in Porthmadog
  • Able to carry out physically demanding work, including regularly handling and moving beer casks
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Hardworking, reliable and willing to get stuck in
  • Take pride in producing products to a consistently high standard
  • Forklift licence desirable, but not essential

Full training will be provided.

Think you could be the right person for the role? We’d love to hear from you.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking
