About us/About you

We are an state of art Radiology clinic providing specialised intervention and diagnostics imaging based in Harley Street. We offer high quality, safe, accessible and affordable services. Excellence in clinical services and patients’ care is our core belief.

We are looking for Senior Radiographers who have significant experience in MRI and General Imaging (theatre/angio). Experience of leading departments and setting up protocols/pathways/policies would be advantageous.

Knowledge of governance and regulatory bodies is essential.

Job summary:

To actively participate in the efficient and safe operating of the Imaging Department, providing a consistent, high quality service to all patients and visitors.

To carry out general and specialised Radiographic procedures within your scope of competence as agreed with the Clinic Manager to high technical and quality standards, assessing patients and interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic procedures

Undertake imaging examinations in line with departmental operational procedures and policies, using techniques that produce the lowest radiation dose to patients and staff whilst producing diagnostic images.

Practice good radiation protection and safety and observe local rules and systems of work.

Comply with the MHRA guidelines and demonstrate high levels of MRI safety

Comply with departmental IRMER and Radiation safety policies and procedures

Participate in supervision, training and peer review within your are of competence/expertise.

Charge for all imaging services in line with carrying guidelines.

Comply with Imaging department Radiation Policies, SOP's and WI's

Comply with mandatory training

Manage the MRI scanner on a day to day basis

Provide training to other members of the clinical team

Responsible for developing and making departmental protocols and policies in line with best practice

To open and close the clinic

To ensure all calls and enquiries are being dealt with within acceptable time

Essential criteria:

Radiography degree or equivalent

HCPC registration

Good IT skills, including office 365 Good understanding of patients’ billings, and payment processes Previous administration experience in a private healthcare/radiology environment would be beneficial.

Be able to demonstrate high standards of work, exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Able to work alone on reception but also a team player

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Effective problem solving skills

Proactive and driven to succeed

You are punctual, committed and reliable

You are flexible and adaptable

You are committed to lifelong learning
