Face-to-Face Tutor (Qualified Teacher) – Core Subjects (ENGLISH, MATHS, SCIENCE) AT KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 GCSE/Functional Skills level

Location: Norfolk, Kings Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft & surrounding areas

Hours: 10+ per week | Self-employed

We are an award-winning social enterprise committed to closing the attainment gap for under-resourced young people. We provide tailored tuition, mentoring, and educational support to:

  • Children Looked After (CLA)
  • Learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC)
  • Learners who have been permanently excluded

We work in partnership with local authorities and schools, and we are proud members of the Fair Education Alliance.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent – see website for alternatives)
  • Availability during school hours
  • Ability to deliver in-person tuition
  • Willingness to travel locally
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting young people
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Based in the UK
  • Ability to work self-employed (up to 15 hours/week)
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and reliability
