The Clerical Assistant reports to the Administrative Officer and is responsible for the effective and efficient administration support of the delivery of the repairs and maintenance functions. A key role will be to work as part of the Local Homes team and liaise with the Customer Service Hub within Strategic Communication and Engagement to provide a comprehensive repairs service to customers.
You should moderate experience of working withing a clerical or administrative environment with experience of assisting with the prioritising and scheduling of works. Customer care and complaints handling experience is also essential.
You should have comprehensive IT skills, particularly in relation to planning systems, with a working knowledge of Microsoft computer packages. With excellent organisational and communication skills you will be self-motivated and be able to prioritise your own workload and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
You will be employed as a hybrid worker working between home and an office base in the Civic Centre, Motherwell.
Work pattern:
35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 16:45 (including a 55 minute unpaid break)
Friday: 08:45 - 16:15 (including a 50 minute unpaid break)
