Hours: Full‑time | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: £28,0000-£35,000 (Based on experience)

DC Conversions, proudly named Van Conversion Company of the Year 2025, is a specialist in high-quality, bespoke campervan conversions.

We’re looking for an experienced Campervan Converter to join our skilled team and be involved in every stage of the conversion process. This is a role for someone who can hit the ground running, adapt quickly, and take real pride in their work and

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Preparation
  • Install campervan components: pop-top roofs, RIB beds, windows, roof vents, flooring, insulation, carpet lining.
  • Installation of 12v/240v electrical wiring, LED lighting, solar panels, diesel/gas heaters, and water systems
  • Installation of bespoke DC internal furniture
  • Installation of external accessories: awnings, bike racks, roof racks, side bars, alloy wheels, tow bars, springs & coilovers.
  • Test all systems to ensure proper functionality and readiness for quality sign-off.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve any issues or defects duriing conversion.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and a clean, safe workspace
  • Collaborate with the team, but also work independently with confidence and initiative
  • Work effectively to hit our build deadlines.
  • Assist in other areas, and offer new ideas to the business, e.g., manufacture of products, new processes and technology

What skills we’re looking for:

  • Someone ready to hit the ground running
  • Minimum 2 year experience in a conversion role or similar skill set.
  • Strong hands-on skills across mechanical, electrical, and joinery tasks
  • Excellent knowledge of 12V electrical and gas/water systems
  • Able to use hand and power tools confidently
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Reliable, professional, and takes pride in producing top-quality work
  • Driving licence essential

You will demonstrate strong transferable skills, including a high level of accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and sound judgement. You will take a diligent, reliable approach to your work and follow instructions effectively. A positive attitude, flexibility, and a cooperative approach to teamwork are essential.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Occasional Saturdays - paid overtime.
  • Attending Occasional Trade Events
