Join a friendly, employee-owned, award-winning international outdoor business as an Amazon Assistant.

The Company

Located in the picturesque, rural setting of East Sussex, Nikwax is a highly successful outdoor business that is run by a close-knit and friendly team of employees, whom we are proud to call Partners.

Nikwax is a leading manufacturer of care products and material systems for outdoor clothing, footwear, and equipment. Working closely with our trusted Partners, we develop and manufacture our products in-house, ensuring exceptional quality and innovation. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to be the only outdoor company to have received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, and in 2026 we have been honoured with a King's Award for the same. Since our founding in 1977, we have remained committed to minimising our environmental impact and have maintained carbon-balanced operations throughout our history.

We offer a flexible working approach, with a balance of homeworking and office days to enhance your work life balance. We highly value our Partners, and this is an exciting opportunity to join our Group.

The Role

Support ecommerce growth across all Amazon territories by assisting the Amazon Executive with the day-to-day operational requirements of Amazon, working closely with key departments to ensure smooth and efficient marketplace operations.

The Responsibilities

  • Support in maintaining account health across all country marketplaces by identifying potential issues, taking corrective action and escalating where required.
  • Manage listing content and assets by ensuring product detail pages are accurate, consistent and compliant.
  • Support FBA stock management by monitoring inventory levels, identifying potential risks and considering seasonal demand and sales trends.
  • Support in improving brand and product visibility by reviewing listing performance and assisting with A/B testing of content and creative assets.
  • Assist with Nikwax Brand Store optimisation, content updates, product presentation and advertising activities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Support Nikwax brand protection by monitoring marketplace activity and assisting with Brand Registry and other brand-protection initiatives as required.
  • Support Amazon customer service by responding to enquiries promptly and monitoring customer feedback to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with Amazon administration, including performance reporting, meeting coordination and maintaining accurate, up-to-date process documentation.
  • Monitor Amazon marketplace KPIs, analyse performance trends and variances, and identify improvement opportunities with the Amazon Executive.

The Key Skills & Qualities

  • A proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn, excellent attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and effective communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, eBay, Bol.com, or experience in a similar ecommerce environment, would be advantageous, alongside the ability to use data and analysis to support informed decision-making.
  • Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Experience in marketing, particularly in advertising or creative design, would be advantageous. Experience in stock management would also be beneficial.

Your standard working hours will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be based at home but will be required to attend our offices in Wadhurst, East Sussex, at least once a week.

The Rewards

  • Competitive benefits and rewards including pension, health cash plan and profit related bonus scheme
  • Additional flexible benefits options including boosted pension contributions, extra holiday or assistance with childcare costs
  • Annual leave starting at 27 days rising with service, plus public holidays
  • Friendly and informal environment with monthly team lunches and quarterly events
  • Be part of an employee-owned business where you can clearly see the effect of your efforts
  • Contribute to an award-winning international company with values that you can believe in.
