Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Bar Back and become the backbone of an energetic and dynamic bar environment! In this role, you will support bartenders and the entire bar staff by ensuring smooth operations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting with food and beverage prep. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create an exceptional experience for our guests, fostering a lively atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a memorable guest experience.

We also offer the opportunity to learn/move up to a bartender role if the interest is there, developing your skills further.

Duties

  • Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste efficiently
  • Support food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit, preparing garnishes, and assembling simple snacks or appetizers when needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management promptly
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by following proper sanitation procedures
  • Help manage guest flow by providing friendly assistance at the bar or service area when necessary
  • Support the overall ambiance by maintaining a lively, positive attitude and assisting with setup or breakdown during shifts

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, hotels, or cafes is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with food preparation, serving, or bartending enhances your ability to support the team effectively
  • Experience working in fast-paced settings where communication skills are vital for teamwork and guest interaction
  • Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and ensuring guest satisfaction
