Paramedics Required – Immediate Start

4 On / 4 Off Rota – Availability for Days, Nights & Weekends

Medical Emergency Solutions Ltd is an independent ambulance service recruiting experienced, fully compliant HCPC Registered Paramedics for frontline 999 emergency work.

We are specifically seeking Paramedics who can commit to a 4 on 4 off rota and who are fully available to work days, nights and weekends. Additionally, they will need to be able to demonstrate the completion of their NQP portfolio if graduated after 2016.

Pay Rates

  • £30.00 per hour – Day shifts Weekdays (Mon - Thurs)
  • £32.00 per hour – Day shifts Weekend (Sat & Sun)
  • £36.00 per hour – Night shifts (Mon - Thurs)
  • £38.00 per hour – Night shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun)

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver care in line with NHS Paramedic clinical protocols, JRCALC guidelines and national ambulance service standards
  • Respond to 999 emergency calls
  • Undertake dynamic risk assessments and clinical triage
  • Assess, treat and manage patients within scope of practice
  • Administer medications appropriately and safely
  • Monitor patient observations and escalate deterioration promptly
  • Maintain patient safety, dignity and comfort at all times
  • Assist with safe patient transfer into Emergency Departments
  • Receive structured handovers from ambulance crews
  • Provide clear and professional handovers to hospital staff
  • Complete accurate and compliant clinical documentation
  • Adhere to all clinical governance and safeguarding frameworks

Essential Requirements

  • Current HCPC registration
  • Minimum 12 months’ frontline NHS Trust experience post-qualification
  • Evidence of NQP sign-off
  • Experience working within NHS emergency ambulance services
  • Demonstrable Continual Professional Development
  • Experience in emergency and non-emergency response driving
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
  • No more than 3 endorsement points on the Driving License
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Up-to-date immunisations
  • Mandatory training completed and current, including:
  • Safeguarding Level 2 and 3
  • Moving and Handling
  • Infection Prevention and Control
