We currently have a vacancy for a bed bug detection dog handler in Greater London area.

You must also be able to house up to two dogs at any one time in an external kennel at your property, as this is a vital component of the role. All our dogs are well trained and very sociable animals. They love to work but they also love to be part of a loving family environment.

This role involves having up to two company dogs living with you and being used for detecting bed bugs. Once qualified, you will be servicing our National clients in the Hospitality, Aviation and Care Home sectors.

The role is home based and will primarily cover M25 and surrounding area.

For the first four weeks of this role, you will be accompanied and learn dog handling and search training during this period.

Your working pattern will include one weekend in five with the following Monday and Tuesday as rest days.

In return Merlin will offer an industry leading salary package that will include the following-

Driving Licence - no more than 6 points

Salary: £28,000 start, after completion of 6-month probation period your salary will rise to £30,000 per annum
