Full job description

Who are we?

At Pulse Fundraising, we work exclusively in close partnership with Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare Charity. We drive fundraising from the heart, delivering every day with personality and passion. Our mantra is simple: “Good things happen to good people.”

We believe in creating a genuinely good working culture by surrounding ourselves with like-minded good people, supporting each other, and delivering meaningful results for Dogs Trust through positive interactions with the public.

The role:

If you love meeting new people and want a role with real purpose and a better work-life balance, face-to-face fundraising could be a fantastic fit.

Ideally suited for those with private site fundraising experience or previous brand ambassador experience. If you have worked previously in face to face sales or customer-facing backgrounds, we would love to hear from you. No prior charity fundraising experience is required, as we provide full training, ongoing mentorship, and all the tools to help you succeed.

And if you love dogs or animals and are passionate about helping them or supporting animal welfare, that is an extra bonus!

We’re looking for good people who:

  • Are naturally great with others, with plenty of personality and a willingness to learn.
  • Have a strong work ethic and the tenacity to deliver for the charity.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence, own a car, and are willing to travel both locally and into surrounding areas.
  • Feel motivated working in different environments each day.
  • Love dogs or feel passionate about helping them (A big bonus!)

What we offer you:

  • A permanent 4 or 5 day contract with the option of a 2-week rotation.
  • A basic salary of £26,000 + uncapped commission paid 4 weekly with achievable OTE of £45K (pro rata for 4 days)
  • First-class training and ongoing field mentorship
  • Fully pre-booked venues from supermarkets to shows and events across the region
  • 28 Days annual leave (full-time) or pro-rata for part-time
  • Paid mileage to and from your venue.
  • Automatic enrolment into our pension scheme.
  • Private health cover after probation.
  • Weekly paid mileage.

At Pulse, we genuinely believe good things happen to good people - so we will invest in your development, celebrate your strengths, and set you up to thrive.

Next steps:

If you are shortlisted, a member of our Talent Team will be in touch to book an informal 20-minute chat. This will enable us to get to know you better and explain the role in more detail.

Please note that we receive a high number of applications and aim to respond to everyone, but If you haven’t heard from us within two weeks, please assume you haven’t been shortlisted this time.
