Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest services by welcoming customers, taking orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards and organisational procedures.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, upselling menu items where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, dining area, and service stations throughout shifts.
• Manage basic maths calculations for billing, payments, and stock control with accuracy.
• Support the team during busy periods by performing various tasks such as clearing tables, replenishing supplies, and assisting with general housekeeping duties.
• Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food items and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills with a friendly demeanour to deliver outstanding guest service.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts, serving, and upselling techniques.
