Apprentice Dental Nurse

Full time positions available in South Shields.

We are looking for a friendly, caring person to join our team at our NHS dental practice in South Shields. We are large 9 surgery practice and regional referral centre for sedation and oral surgery.

This is fantastic opportunity for to develop your skills in a hands-on job, gain a nationally-recognised qualification and get paid whilst you learn.

As one of our dental nurses, you’ll be there as vital and reliable chair-side support to our clinicians. You can also expect to work in other areas of the practice, including reception. That will see you dealing with patient queries, answering the phone, taking payments and booking appointments.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Word/Excel.
  • English and maths GCSEs
