Full job description

Our company produces conveyor belts for use in food and cardboard factories, farming, and packaging industries. We are looking for a new member for our production/installation team.

This is a very hands-on role which involves on-the-job training and mentorship. You will learn from experienced team members and follow an induction program.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has manual dexterity
  • a practical mindset and willingness to learn
  • wants to work in a factory environment
  • with transferable skills including: regular use of hand tools, measuring & cutting equipment
  • has good attention to detail
  • is interested in manufacturing
  • has a basic/good level of English.

Mechanical ability & understanding, including experience of machine maintenance, is desirable but not essential for this role.

We are happy to consider school or college leavers, or someone looking for a new long-term career.

You will need to be punctual, able to work as part of a team, be highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure.

You will be taught:

  • how to handle our products
  • use hand tools
  • operate various machinery
  • manual production techniques
  • how to install our products

We operate a weekend and call out rota. You must be able to work unsociable hours at times.

Ideally candidates would be based near High Wycombe/ Wooburn Green area, with no more than a 45-minute commute.

Pay: £26,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
