Job Overview
About Us:

We are a mature and active couple seeking a reliable and enthusiastic farm worker to assist with the daily operations of our small private farm. The farm includes a main farmhouse, paddocks, fields, garden, holiday cottages. Our farm is home to Dogs, Cats, Sheep, Miniature ponies, Goats, and a Donkey named Daisy.

Responsibilities:

  • Animal Care: Morning and evening feeding, ensuring fresh water for animals, and assisting with seasonal tasks such as lambing, sheep shearing, and vet visits.
  • Farm Maintenance: Fencing, ditch clearing, hedge trimming, and simple DIY tasks for barns and buildings.
  • Driving Duties: A full driving license is required for local errands and occasional transportation of farm owners to appointments.

Requirements:

  • Upbeat and enthusiastic with a willingness to tackle diverse tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Benefits:

  • Flexible Hours: Negotiable with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Some weekend work will be expected.
