Job Overview

Apple Blossom are a family owned nursery group with 4 settings in the region.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where young children can thrive and develop essential skills. Your leadership and management abilities will ensure high-quality care and education, fostering positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Duties

  • Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support children's learning and growth
  • Supervise and support a team of nursery staff, promoting teamwork and professional development
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by adhering to safeguarding policies and health & safety regulations
  • Build strong communication channels with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and needs
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and daily activities
  • Manage daily nursery operations efficiently, including resource management and environment organization
  • Lead by example in maintaining high standards of childcare, professionalism, and enthusiasm for early childhood education

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (such as CACHE Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting
  • Strong management and leadership skills to guide and motivate a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health & safety standards, and early childhood development principles
  • Ability to demonstrate childcare best practices with a positive attitude and proactive approach
