Remote teaching with workplace visits across the Midlands

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Apprenticeship Tutor to join our growing Programme Management Team at Learning Skills Partnership (LSP).

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in Customer Service, Trade Supplier, Retail Operations, Business Administration or related sectors who are passionate about developing others and supporting learners to achieve their career goals. Previous apprenticeship delivery experience is desirable, but we are also interested in speaking with successful industry professionals who can bring current sector knowledge and a passion for coaching and mentoring.

This role will primarily deliver apprenticeships in:

  • Trade Supplier
  • Business Administration
  • Customer Service

If you're passionate about developing people, enjoy building relationships with employers and apprentices, and want to make a genuine difference to learners' careers, we'd love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be home-based but should be located within the Midlands, with the ability to travel to employers across the region for learner reviews, workplace coaching and support. This is a hybrid role, combining home-based remote teaching with regular travel to employers' workplaces across the Midlands for coaching, progress reviews and learner support.

The Role

You'll manage your own caseload of apprentices, delivering engaging teaching, coaching and assessment that enables learners to achieve their apprenticeship and progress confidently towards End Point Assessment.

You'll:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching sessions both remotely and face to face.
  • Coach apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by their apprenticeship standard.
  • Conduct workplace visits for progress reviews, coaching and employer engagement.
  • Assess learner work and provide clear, developmental feedback.
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment.
  • Build strong relationships with employers to support learner progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate learner records using our e-portfolio systems.
  • Promote safeguarding, Prevent Duty, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout your delivery.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Occupational competence within one or more of the following sectors:
  • Trade Supplier
  • Business Administration
  • Customer Service
  • Experience delivering apprenticeship training, coaching or assessment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident remote teaching skills using platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload and work independently.
  • A commitment to delivering an outstanding learner experience.

Qualifications

  • Relevant occupational qualification (Level 3 or above).
  • Teaching qualification (AET, CET, DET or equivalent), or willingness to achieve.
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1 or equivalent), or willingness to achieve.

Why Join Learning Skills Partnership?

At LSP, we're proud of our supportive culture, collaborative approach and genuine commitment to both our learners and our people.

We offer:

  • A flexible, home-based role with a healthy balance of remote delivery and workplace visits.
  • The opportunity to work with motivated apprentices and supportive employers.
  • Ongoing CPD and professional development.
  • A collaborative team who share ideas and support one another.
  • A values-driven organisation where quality, wellbeing and inclusion matter.

This role involves regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

We are recruiting directly and do not work with recruitment agencies.

Ready to inspire the next generation of business professionals? We'd love to hear from you.

Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
