Help Adults Take The Next Step Towards A Better Future.

A new qualification can change a career.

A new career can change a life.

At London Learning Consortium (LLC/DV8), we support adults to access education, gain recognised qualifications and develop the skills needed to progress into sustainable employment and rewarding careers.

We're looking for an ambitious and inspiring Team Leader to lead our Adult Learner Loans & Apprenticeships recruitment function, ensuring every learner receives outstanding information, advice and guidance from their first enquiry through to successful enrolment.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, build strong employer and stakeholder partnerships, and play a key role in helping adults access life-changing education opportunities.

If you're passionate about leadership, learner success and delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

About LLC/DV8

At LLC/DV8, we believe education has the power to transform lives.

We deliver high-quality education, skills and employability programmes that support both young people and adults to achieve their ambitions.

Working with employers, funding partners and local communities, we're committed to delivering inclusive, learner-centred provision that creates real opportunities and positive outcomes.

As our organisation continues to grow, we're looking for talented leaders who share our passion for education and our commitment to delivering an exceptional learner experience.

The Opportunity

As Team Leader, you'll oversee the recruitment and admissions activity for our Adult Learner Loans & Apprenticeships provision.

You'll lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for providing professional information, advice and guidance, supporting prospective learners throughout their enrolment journey while ensuring contractual targets, compliance requirements and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Working closely with the Director of Business Development, curriculum managers, employers and referral partners, you'll help identify new opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships and contribute to the continued growth of our provision.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact—not only on organisational performance, but on the lives and careers of the adults we support every day.

What You'll Be Doing

As Team Leader, you'll:

  • Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated admissions team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure prospective learners receive high-quality information, advice and guidance to help them make informed decisions about their future.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with employers, referral organisations, community partners and external stakeholders.
  • Support recruitment campaigns, employer engagement activities and promotional events to maximise learner recruitment.
  • Monitor admissions performance, learner data and funding targets, using insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to ensure a seamless learner journey from enquiry through to programme commencement.
  • Contribute to business development activity by identifying new partnership opportunities and responding to labour market demand.
  • Ensure all admissions activity is compliant with funding requirements, organisational procedures and quality standards.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a confident and proactive leader who enjoys supporting others to achieve success.

You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate teams, develop strong external partnerships and deliver exceptional customer service in a target-driven environment.

You'll have experience leading or coordinating teams, managing competing priorities and using performance data to drive continuous improvement.

Experience within adult education, apprenticeships, employability, careers guidance or learner recruitment would be highly advantageous, although we're equally interested in individuals who can demonstrate transferable leadership skills and a genuine passion for changing lives through education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Education, Business Administration, Management, Careers Guidance or a related discipline.
  • Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Level 2 or above.
  • Leadership and Management qualification (e.g. ILM Level 3/5) (desirable).
  • Safeguarding training.
  • Teaching, Assessor or Coaching qualification (desirable).

Why Join LLC/DV8?

At LLC/DV8, you'll join an organisation where your contribution genuinely matters.

In return, we offer:

  • Competitive salary and pension scheme.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement plus Bank Holidays.
  • Ongoing CPD and leadership development opportunities.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Eye care vouchers and annual flu vaccination.
  • A supportive and collaborative leadership team.
  • Opportunities to influence organisational growth and innovation.
  • The satisfaction of helping adults unlock new opportunities through education.

Ready To Help Someone Build A Better Future?

If you're passionate about leadership, education and creating opportunities for adult learners, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today by submitting your CV together with a covering letter outlining why you'd be an excellent addition to the LLC/DV8 team.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment checks, including satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS check and online screening in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.
