Job Description:

Blossom Lodge Day Nursery are looking to recruit an apprentice for approx 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday) .

We are looking to recruit a nursery practitioner to work in our family orientated, friendly and inclusive private nursery who pride ourselves in our relationship with parents and is passionate for creating an individual learning environment for each child.

Job Purpose:

To work in the nursery supporting, developing and extending play across the curriculum. Experience of working within the EYFS is essential, a kind and calm manner a must, along with a sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a growing team. A passionate to see young children develop and the ability to be empathetic to their needs is essential

We are looking for someone that is caring and has a passion for working in childcare. You will need to be flexible towards your working hours / days, hardworking and a team player.

The Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • Experience of working in a children's day nursery
  • Apprentices will be set up with a training provider to complete the childcare qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to observe and records children's progress
  • Good IT skills in order to carry out recording the children's daily information on our online portal
  • Enthusiasm and a passionate approach to early years development
  • Skills to deliver high quality childcare
  • All applications require 2 references and the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure (DBS)
