BDR Group are looking for a proactive and motivated Data Analyst Apprentice who is enthusiastic about learning, has a keen analytical mindset, and is ready to develop practical skills in a real-world, fast-paced tech environment. In this role, you’ll be supported by a friendly, collaborative team that values your growth and will help you build confidence and competence in data analysis and reporting. You’ll also benefit from structured apprenticeship training with Baltic Apprenticeship, including 2-day learning blocks every 4-6 weeks, giving you dedicated time to build your knowledge, refine your skills and progress within the programme.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Data Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Collect, maintain, and analyse operational, financial, fleet, and performance data using Salesforce CRM, Excel, Fleet Check, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Produce and manage reports on purchase orders, expenditure, job completion, labour scheduling, health & safety compliance, supplier performance, and delivery tracking.
- Build and update dashboards to visualise key metrics, applying filtering, sorting, totals, averages, and trend analysis to identify patterns and performance issues.
- Track spending, job duration, resource usage, delivery reliability, and ROI to support operational decision-making and cost control.
- Identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, profitability improvements, and gaps in health & safety compliance to enhance customer value and service performance.
- Distribute insights to senior stakeholders and support account management activities, including quoting, client communications, and ROI review meetings, contributing to improved productivity and client experience.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Passionate about technology and motivated to build a career within a large, fast-paced, technology-driven organisation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and solve problems effectively.
- Comfortable working with data and numbers, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to translate data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-focused, with an understanding of how data informs business decisions and enhances customer experience.
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn new systems, tools, and analytical techniques while managing multiple priorities.
- Grade 4 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £15,600 per annum.
- 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
- 20 day annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Extra day off for birthday.

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in data. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
