Full job description

Location: Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | with Hybrid Working

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking practice, working on a diverse portfolio of projects across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects from concept through to completion, producing high-quality technical information and coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors.

The Role

As an Architectural Technologist, you will:

  • Produce high-quality technical drawing packages and construction information.
  • Support project delivery across all RIBA work stages.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and clients.
  • Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
  • Contribute to technical design development and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings, design reviews and site visits as required.

About You

To be considered, you should have:

  • Around five years' industry experience as an Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician or technically focused Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing and technical delivery.
  • Experience producing detailed construction information and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD desirable but not essential. Training will be given in ArchiCAD.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Experience within sectors such as commercial, residential and industrial projects would be advantageous.
