Senior Architect / Senior Technologist

Harrogate, North Yorkshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join a well-established award winning architectural practice in Harrogate.

This role is ideally suited to a commercially minded design professional with strong job-running capability and proven experience delivering large-scale commercial projects across sectors including Residential, Retail, Industrial and Logistics.

You will play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, managing project delivery, client coordination and technical development within a collaborative and design-focused environment.

The Role

  • Lead the design and technical delivery of commercial architecture projects
  • Manage projects through all RIBA stages from concept to completion
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and client relationships
  • Produce and oversee high-quality technical and construction information
  • Work across a varied portfolio including residential, retail, industrial and logistics developments
  • Undertake responsibilities relating to CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer duties

Requirements

  • Qualified ARB/RIBA Architect or MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience within commercial architecture
  • Proven experience running complex, large-scale projects independently
  • Strong technical and detailing capability
  • Fully proficient in Revit
  • Experience undertaking CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer roles
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
