Full job description
Architect!
Nook Build is a growing London construction company specialising in extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments and new builds. We have an in-house design team and a strong pipeline of residential projects across London.
We're looking for an ambitious architect who wants more than a desk-based design role. This position combines architectural work with client relationships and business development, so it suits someone who enjoys people as much as drawings and wants to grow with a company.
Responsibilities:
- Meet clients for design consultations and turn enquiries into projects
- Produce architectural designs, drawings and planning applications
- Carry out site visits and inspections, and write site reports
- Find and develop new business opportunities and referral relationships
- Work closely with the director and help shape the company's growth
Requirements:
- Qualified architect with at least 2 years' experience
- Proven experience in residential design or project management, such as extensions, loft conversions, refurbishments or new builds
- Strong design skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Confident, personable communicator with clients
- Commercial mindset, with an interest in sales and business growth
- Comfortable working on construction sites
- Based in London, with a full UK driving licence and your own transport
- ARB registration preferred
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary
- Commission on new business you bring in
- Varied hands-on project experience
- Clear progression to a senior or leadership role
- Direct involvement in growing the business
How to apply:
Send your CV and portfolio through Indeed. In a short note, tell us about a time you won someone over.
Pay: £28,800.00-£60,200.00 per year
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Company car
- Free parking
- On-site parking
Work Location: In person
