Full job description

A well-established multidisciplinary practice is looking for an experienced Architectural Assistant/ Technologist to work as part of our design team.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, SketchUp and hand drawing. Further experience in a 3D programme such as Revit would be an advantage. Candidates should also have a valid clean UK driving licence. A thorough working knowledge of current UK Building Regulations is an essential requirement for this post.

We are seeking someone with very good design and detailing skills. The person must have good knowledge of detailed building design and construction and all aspects of sustainable design. The position would suit a person who is self-motivated and ambitious and who wishes to work on a variety of projects in a number of different sectors and of varying sizes.

We currently have instructions in respect of a number of small and medium size residential developments, refurbishment/heritage projects, industrial and employment schemes, as well as recreation and educational projects. The post also offers the opportunity to participate in project management, contractual and site supervision aspects of projects.
