Job Summary:

As a Housekeeper, you will work as part of a busy and vibrant team who ensure that all of our guests experience wonderful stays in immaculate rooms.

The ideal candidate needs to have high attention to detail with proven operational experience who can work both within a team and alone.

Job Duties:

· Providing high levels of hospitality.

· Cleaning bedrooms and public areas to required standards within a set time frame.

· Self checking rooms to required standards.

· Report any maintenance issues correctly.

· Ensuring guest rooms are cleaned, stocked and maintained to the required standard.

· Ensuring the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition.

· Ensuring the correct level of security for all guest belongings are achieved.

· Responding to guest comments and issues in a professional manner and rectifying any problems as soon as possible.

· Ensuring hotel procedures are followed at all time.

· Communicate effectively with all team members within housekeeping and other departments.

Person Specification:

· Experience working in a similar role in a high quality hotel.

· Use your own initiative to solve problems and help others.

· Able to understand duties communicated via senior team members or the team leader on that day.

· You must be flexible as shift times may vary according to business needs and development.

· Must be flexible with changes in the workplace and follow updated checklists for housekeeping roles as the business grows.

· Be friendly and professional around all the hotel and interact with guests in a warm and courteous manner.

· Take pride in your work and follow the whim hospitality ways.

· Always turn up to work ready and on time with correct uniform.
