GENERAL MANAGER – BAR & RESTAURANT

Our Mission

We’re more than just a place to eat and drink — we’re a vibrant social hub where great food, expertly crafted drinks, and warm hospitality come together.

Our mission is simple: to create unforgettable experiences for every guest, every time. We believe in fresh, locally sourced ingredients, a welcoming atmosphere, and a team culture built on respect, creativity, and pride in what we do.

The Impact You'll Make

As our General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of our bar and restaurant. You’ll lead from the front — setting the tone for exceptional service, inspiring your team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.

Your leadership will shape our reputation, grow our loyal customer base, and keep our operations running like clockwork.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations across both bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain quality and cost efficiency.
  • Drive sales and profitability through creative promotions, events, and menu innovations.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene standards.
  • Analyse performance metrics and implement strategies to improve service, efficiency, and revenue.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in a busy bar/restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • A deep understanding of hospitality operations, from front-of-house service to back-of-house efficiency.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, customer-focused approach.
  • A passion for food, drink, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
  • Opportunities for professional development and leadership training.
  • A supportive, close-knit team environment where your ideas are valued.
  • The chance to shape the future of a well-loved local venue and make your mark on the community.

We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
