Adults Team Manager – Community Team
Location: Dunoon, Argyll & Bute
Pay Rate: £50.00 per hour
Contract Type: Locum
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available with the option of a condensed 4-day week where preferred

Seven Resourcing is currently recruiting an experienced Adults Team Manager to join a Community Adult Social Work Team in Dunoon, Argyll & Bute. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care professional looking for a rewarding locum management role with flexible working options and a competitive hourly rate.

You will provide effective leadership and operational management to a busy Adult Social Care Team, ensuring high-quality statutory services are delivered to adults within the community. Working closely with social work practitioners, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies, you will support positive outcomes through strong leadership, supervision, and person-centred practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of an Adult Community Social Work Team.
  • Offer professional supervision, guidance, and support to social work staff.
  • Oversee case management and ensure effective delivery of statutory social work services.
  • Promote strengths-based and person-centred approaches to adult care.
  • Work collaboratively with health services and multi-agency partners.
  • Support staff development, performance improvement, and best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and professional standards.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
  • Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Previous experience managing or supervising an Adult Social Work team.
  • Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation and statutory practice.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience supporting staff development and delivering high-quality services.
