Arm is seeking a dedicated PCB Team Lead to join our ambitious team in Cambridge, UK. This outstanding opportunity involves leading a skilled group of PCB layout engineers across the globe, encouraging a collaborative environment that promotes flawless execution and continuous improvement. You will be instrumental in crafting a cohesive team, ensuring consistent processes, and successfully implementing high-quality PCB layouts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a PCB layout team from engineers across various projects.
  • Plan PCB layout activities, estimate effort, and support project schedules.
  • Improve consistency and efficiency in layout planning and build reviews, including through the use of automation and EDA tooling.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for PCB layout planning and delivery status.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience directing or supervising PCB layout engineers or comparable technical groups.
  • Expertise in planning & managing PCB layout work and supporting project schedules.
  • Strong understanding of PCB build flows, layout reviews, and manufacturing handover (DFT/DFM etc).
  • Experience working with hardware, silicon, signal integrity, power integrity, mechanical, manufacturing teams.
  • Effective people management skills, including mentoring and development planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Confident managing vendors/suppliers relationships to support the team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with silicon development boards, validation platforms, or production hardware.
  • Knowledge of high-speed digital PCB build, such as DDRx/LPDDRx, PCIe interfaces.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, or complex board build constraints.
  • Experience improving PCB build methods and introducing automation.
