Art & Design Lecturer

Bolton | £24-£28.75 per hour (incl. holiday pay) | Flexible hours

Bolton Talent Solutions (Bolton College's internal agency) is recruiting Arts & Design Lecturers to support delivery at Bolton College from September 2026.

This is a temporary, hourly paid agency role, offering flexible work and ongoing assignments depending on curriculum needs - ideal for FE lecturers, tutors, or industry professionals.


What you'll do

  • Deliver engaging Art & Design sessions (Entry - Level 2)
  • Support learners to build creative skills and portfolios
  • Track progress and provide feedback

Teaching may include:

  • Fine Art (drawing, painting, mixed media)
  • Graphic Design (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Photography & Digital Imaging
  • Fashion & Textiles
  • Ceramics, Sculpture & 3D Design
  • Printmaking & Creative Crafts
  • Floristry
  • Cake Decorating & Sugarcraft
  • Interior Design / Creative Media (intro level)
  • Community & Adult Art courses

What we're looking for

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Art & Design
  • Teaching qualification (Cert Ed / PGCE)
  • Experience in FE, schools or community learning
  • Strong practical creative skills

Must have / be willing: DBS + Level 2 English & Maths
