Creative Studio Assistant

Location: Clarendon Fine Art Creative Hub
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, organised and hands-on Creative Studio Assistant to join the Creative Hub team at Clarendon Fine Art.

Reporting to the Studio Manager, you will play an important role in the creation, finishing, and preparation of our Limited-Edition artwork. This is a varied role that combines artistic skills, computer-based administration, and practical studio work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being creative but is equally comfortable getting stuck into the detail behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Finishing Limited Edition artwork using a range of painting, embellishing and varnishing techniques.
  • Assisting the studio team with the printing and production of Limited-Edition artwork.
  • Supporting the studio administration process, including preparing Certificates of Authenticity and accurately editioning artwork.
  • Carefully checking finished artwork to ensure it meets the required quality and presentation standards.
  • Preparing, wrapping, and securely packing delicate artwork ready for despatch.
  • Supporting the wider Creative Hub team with a variety of studio tasks as required.
  • Helping to meet production and delivery deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Adapting your approach and working methods depending on the artist, artwork, and production technique.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is creative, practical, organised, and willing to get stuck in.

You'll ideally have:

  • A good knowledge of a range of painting and artistic finishing techniques.
  • A genuine interest in art and a desire to work within a creative environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Good basic computer and administration skills.
  • A flexible and positive approach, with the ability to adapt to different artists, artwork and manufacturing techniques.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks when required.
  • The ability to manage changing priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Flexibility around working hours when required to meet important production and delivery deadlines.

Why Join Clarendon Fine Art?

We recognise and reward the hard work of our people, and offer a range of benefits including:

  • 33 days' annual leave, including Bank Holidays.
  • Contributory employee pension scheme.
  • Company social events throughout the year.
  • A 24/7 employee support helpline for you and your relatives, including access to mental health assessments, action plans and short-term counselling.
  • A range of employee benefits and discounts across food, drink, retailers and days out.
  • Milestone rewards to celebrate important life events, both inside and outside of work.
  • Seasonal 'Thank You' gifts throughout the year.
  • Free parking at our HQ and Operations sites.

A Creative Role With Variety

If you're looking for a role where you can combine your artistic ability with organisation, attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach, this could be the perfect opportunity to join the Clarendon Fine Art team.
